A couple of little side projects that I am working on at the moment are some embroidered gifts. These are special presents for friends. Both pieces have a tattoo theme, one is based on traditional western tattoos and the other on japanese tattoo designs. I have been browsing my embroidery books and Taschen book of “1000 tattoos” for inspiration. I am planning on experimenting with a range of stitches and layering different vintage fabrics.
