These cushion covers are made from thrifted denim, vintage and new fabrics and cotton lace. They also have hand embroidered text on one of the denim panels. The back of each cover is totally denim with an “envelope” opening. The thrifted denim is soft and supple making the cushions very comfortable.

This cushion cover is made from dark denim and has vintage fabrics that include different red and yellow tones. The text reads “one good deed”. It measures approx. 53cm x 35cm.

tweedy rabbits

Inspired by well loved childhood teddies and animals and antique soft toys these rabbits are created as individual characters. They are made from thrifted and vintage fabrics, have moveable limbs, mother of pearl button eyes and a ribbon tie around their neck.

I make small rabbits measuring about 26 cm from the tip of their ears down to their feet and medium rabbits measuring about 31cm. They are available in a variety of colours but as the fabrics used are from limited stock I do not produce long runs of each fabric type.

making lavender bags & wedding favours

Next month I am exhibiting at the Vintage Chic Wedding Fair and I wanted to make some sample wedding favours to show there. I had also been thinking about making lavender bags out of the various bits of vintage fabric, lace and ribbons in my collection, so I’ve combined the two. Inspired by the season I have used Autumnal colours and added some hand embroidered and appliqued details.
