I have been making painted and paper collages for some time and wanted to do a similar thing with textiles.  I often use photos of flowers in my paper collages and wondered how I could translate this into textiles.  Then I discovered transfer paper and wohoo, problem solved! I have used my own photos of flowers from my garden and allotment.

My next stage is to print or embroider some text on to fabric and have a rummage through my fabric collection for some likely combinations.
