I can’t quite believe this is Sunday number 52 and my last Sunday blog post of 2014. I’m a day late in posting it as we were at my mum’s yesterday for tea and I was a wee bit tired when we got back home.

It was a super frosty, Wintery day.

In fact there has been some quite wintery weather these past few days. Christmas day was clear, crisp and sunny and there was even snow on boxing day.

I did eventually get the Christmas decorations up, I had thought aw can I be bothered with them all but the Children insisted and somehow it doesn’t quite feel like Christmas unless the house is decked out with all our baubles and treasures.

My sister and aunty were at my mum’s as well and it was good to catch up with them.

The run up to Christmas seems to have been crazier than usual this year but these past few days I do feel like I’ve been able to take a breath and relax. There is nothing I like better than sitting in the glow of the fairy lights and just enjoying the cozy feel of my Christmassy home.

I am so grateful that I am able to do this and never take these moments for granted. Christmas isn’t over yet though and we still have friends to see, food to share and the decorations will be brightening up the house until 6th January.
