Description

This soft sculpture sail boat is made from thick woollen felt covered with vintage fabrics, antique book papers and cotton lace trims. It has a wooden mast and, paper and fabric sails and the body of the boat is stuffed to give it stability and weight. I hand make a range of sail boats and each one is a unique one off piece.

The inspiration for these little sail boats comes from holidays at the seaside and memories of childhood adventure games.

It measures 16cm x 15.5cm x 5cm and is free standing.
