30 days wild

I don’t need much encouragement to get out in to nature so the Wildlife Trusts’ 30 Days Wild was very appealing to me. The challenge was to do something wild every day during the month of June, and I did! I shared my wild experiences on social media (links above and on the side of my blog). This little film captures most of my wild moments.

We live in an old suburban area and I enjoy the wildlife that I encounter daily. However, sometimes it’s good to venture a little bit further afield and two highlights of my 30 Days Wild were a family visit to The Christopher Cadbury Wetland Reserve at Upton Warren and a day out at the Worcester and Birmingham Canal and Westall Park.

It was a gloriously sunny day when we visited the Wetland Reserve.flowers-and-lakeWe saw lots of wild flowers…

Westall Park is a green burial ground where my dad is buried, a beautiful place to visit and remember.
