Today started slowly with a bit of blog catching up.

We went to some local stables to get muck for the allotment. Most of my crops are over now, although there are still a few courgettes, turnips….

….and rocket, looking very pretty as it flowers.

The evening primroses are still flowering away, they are a bit of a weed but I don’t mind them.

I spent most of the afternoon painting the outside of the house, nearly done.

After a cold and wet Saturday today was pleasantly warm and sunny. In the garden the roses are still blooming….

….and the grasses are looking pretty.

But there was a nip in the air  tonight and feeling chilly I put on some woolly socks.
