This morning was lovely and sunny and the whole day has been mellow and mild.

I spent some of today baking for “pie day”

I made pecan pie (for the first time) and feta and spinach pasties.

This year “pie day” was held at my friends’ house and we enjoyed the afternoon sunshine in their garden….

….before eating substantial amounts of delicious pies!
