making little cloth dolls

I have been busy making a new range of cloth dolls. I wanted to have some smaller dolls to complement the cloth dolls I launched at this year’s BCTF.

I riffled through my collections of fabrics and yarns and decided to give these girls skirts made from vintage hankies and hair made from wool.

They are made from a mix of vintage and new fabrics with articulated arms and legs made from contrasting fabrics. They have hand embroidered faces and their woollen hair is attached by hand stitching.

I took these along to last Sunday’s LNCCF and will also be taking some of these dolls to this Saturday’s Bearwood Handmade
