sea shore collections

It’s definitely not Summer any more and it feels like my Summer holidays were ages ago. However, I have my photos and some sea shore finds to remind me of those coastal visits. I love shells, pebbles and driftwood and find it very hard not to come home with bags of the stuff. I am really trying to limit what I collect and take photos of my finds instead, but I can’t resist some things. At Trearddur Bay I picked up some sea glass and pretty pinky orange shells. I did leave a lot of other things behind though and enjoyed creating arrangements and making things like the pebbles with patterns.

There are more photos of my sea shore finds on my flickr site.

  1. These are lovely Madeline, I love the driftwood and the chalked stones in particular. I know what you mean about the summer holidays seeming ages ago. I got my first taste of the cold wind on my metal plated wrist which I broke last winter, it didn’t feel good! I think I will be knitting some wrist warmers. bee x
